This goldenrod is one of the few species that thrives in the shade. Use it in woodland settings; its blooms will brighten shady areas until early autumn, disguised by its decorative foliage. It is easy to grow and has a moderate growth rate. Its zigzagging stem and broad, oval leaves are among the features that distinguish it from other goldenrod species.
