YELLOW in bloom in our fields
The fields surrounding Passion Lavande contain a variety of crops that complement our lavender garden beautifully. Our fields are prepared in the spring and laid out as large gardens. Sunflowers have been part of the garden from the very beginning. We sow them towards the end of May. Their flowering period is in August and varies depending on several factors (sunshine, heat, sowing time). We can enjoy them until the end of August. Sometimes in July, the colors of the lavender and sunflowers briefly overlap, much to everyone's delight.
Sunflowers at home
Growing sunflowers is very easy but requires rich soil. Get your seeds from our shop. Simply sow your seeds 6 mm deep in late May or early June and water as needed. This plant has the ability to find what it needs. A great way to bring a touch of lavender passion and sunshine into your home.
YELLOW family discovery
Our sunflower fields change every year, so it's important to come and rediscover our different gardens and their diverse crops. The interpretation center will inform you about the life cycle of sunflower and lavender cultivation. Several of our sunflower oil-based products are available for tasting in the shop: sunflower oil, salad dressing, and of course, our honey. Produced from pollen grown in our fields and the work of our bees, our autumn honey is made with white clover, sunflower blossoms, and lavender. And why not take advantage of a guided tour to deepen your knowledge?
